We drove back through the night and returned to New York at 4 this morning and caught some shut-eye in Lama Pema’s shrine room before coming into work today. We’re still numb from the amazing and moving experience in D.C. (it was Aaron’s first trip there)

Our wonderful whirlwind has picked up new steam as we have just now finalized plans to drive to Washington D.C. tomorrow morning with Lama Pema to attend the festivities taking place to honor the Dalai Lama.
